Chiang Mai Inn

The Chiang Mai Inn is a pleasant four story guesthouse close to the Old City and Thapae Gate area, which is very popular with visitors. The guest house also has the advantage of being nicely tucked away down a quiet soi which makes it a very relaxing, noise-free establishment. The staff are friendly and helpful and can assist with informaton on things to do in Chiang Mai, treks, motorbike hire and any other help you require.

Two Days One Night

Day 1.

9am pick up followed by a fascinating visit to a local market.

Visit an elephant camp and take an elephant ride through the jungle.

Lunch followed by a trek to a stunning waterfall

Trek and stay overnight in a traditional Karen village

Day 2

Breakfast followed by a two hour trek by rivers and moutains.

Stop at waterfall for swimming and relaxing.

Lunch followed by bamboo rafting throuh an lovely river valley

Return to Chiang Mai at about 5pm

Cost = 1,500 baht per person

3 Days/2 Nights Trek

Doi Inthanon National Park

Day 1

9am pick up. Visit an out of town local market

1½ hours visit to an elephant camp including elephant riding. Lunch

3½ hours afternoon trek to a stay overnight in a private camp in a beautiful natural area

Day 2

Breakfast followed by a 2 hour trek through stunning countryside to the summit of Doi Intahnon at 1,700 metres above sea level. Fabulous views.

Lunch follwed by another 1½ hour trek to a traditional Karen hill village. Overnight in the village with a traditional show and meet with local people.

Day 3

After breakfast a 1½ hour hike through the jungle to a beautiful waterfall for a swim and relaxation.

Another hours hike by a mountain stream and stay at a camp for lunch.

A 20 minute hike followed by 1½ hours bamboo river rafting.

Return to Chiang Mai arriving at about 5.30pm
