Moving to a new city and country can be a daunting prospect. No matter how enthusiastic and keen you are to begin a new life in Chiang Mai there will be issues that will concern you. Whatever questions you have, whether they are legal (visas, regulations and the like), practical (how to find somewhere to live, get around or where to shop) or social (how do you make new friends?) we can help and offer you a free meal. A number of well established expats will attend in addition to a Thai legal advisor should you want some specific advice.

The Welcome to Chiang Mai Dinner is a joint exercise between members of the Chiang Mai Expats Club, embracechiangmai.com and Tuskers Bar. The purpose is to meet and give advice to people new to Chiang Mai in a relaxed informal environment.

Enjoy a free meal

We meet at Tuskers twice a month and people new to Chiang Mai will receive a free buffet dinner and the opportunity to find answers to any questions they have as well as meeting new people and making friends. People already established in Chiang Mai and looking to help and meet newcomers are welcome to attend and enjoy the buffet for a nominal charge of 100 baht.
